China Car Parking Lift
A limited parking area can be too small to accommodate a car ramp. In this case, a vertical car lift can be helpful to park multiple cars as it makes use of the upper space
of a car garage to increase storage.
Types of car parking lifts
1.According to the functions, car lifts can be divided into the ordinary car lift, reversing car lift and the traverse car lift.
2.According to the drive models, car parking lifts are divided into: wire rope car lift, hydraulic car lift, hydraulic wire rope mixed car lift, chain car lift, screw car lift, etc. The hydraulic var lift is usually for low-level lifting and chain car lift is susually for high-level lifting.
Main parts of a car lift
1.The lift
The car lift should be settled in a proper position. It should not get in the way when the cars come in and out. It should help you make good use of the space.
2.Entrance and exit
For lift with an etrance that also function as an exit, a distance of two car lengths should be reserved between the entrance/exit of a car lift and the road ahead, or space for a reversing platform. For lifts with separate entrance and exit, a distance of one car length is reserved on the entrance side. The width of the car entrance and exit shall be more than 0.5M and not less than 2.25m and its height shall be more than 1.8m and not less than the height of the vehicle to be parked plus 0.1m.
3.Lift assess
The dimensions of the lift access should be designed to enable safe operation of the lift, with the distance between the load plate and the edge of the entrance/exit floor to be 4CM or less. The pit depth for hydraulic direct push lifts should be at least 1.2m independent of the rated speed.
4.Safty devices
An emergency stop device: when failures occur, press the emergency stop button to stop the lift. A buffer device: to reduce the impact when the lift is descending, a buffer is installed in the pit to reduce the impact. A Limit switch: in order to prevent the lift from punching the top or going beyond the running area, a limit switch should be set, which can stop the lift automatically when it reaches the limit position. Hydraulic safety valve: in case of the oil pipe burst or sudden unloading, the safety valve will automatically close so that the load plate cannot fall, avoiding accidents. A device to prevent the motor from idling and a device to lower the conveyor are also needed.
Accessory equipment
1.Ventilation equipment.
When carrying people and vehicles together, ventilation equipment prevents hazards to people from vehicle exhaust.
2.lumination equipment
The illumination for the lift access and machinery room entrances and exits should be bright enough, and the power switch should be located near the entrance.
3.Alarm device.
In order to ensure safety, warning devices should be set up.
4.Power supply equipment.
To ensure safe operation, the power capacity of the car lift should be independent of other loads with separate installations.
5.Emergency exits
For evacuation of people in an emergency.
